Fashion Icons

MARILYN MONROE

One of my favorite Fashion Icons is Marilyn Monroe. You can still see the impact on our culture and fashion, just take a look at Christina Aguilera. Maybe I’m being bias, myself being a blonde and all but Marilyn Monroe was  named the greatest blonde of all time. She inspires me not only by her fashion but by the person she was.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

AUDREY HEPBURN

Her classic style and elegance make her one of the biggest fashion icons. Clothing from her movies, Breakfast at Tiffay’s, Funny Face and Roman Holiday, are still copied and embodied in fashion everywhere. The classic black dress, large hats, girly dresses, and black skinny pants and turtle necks. Along with her great style she was a great humanitarian. She was appointed as a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF and often visited orphanages in some of the poorest countries. She will forever be a fashion icon for girls everywhere.

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.
